The U Zelené ratolesti Guesthouse is located in the very heart of České Budějovice, just a short walk from the city's historic center and a popular cycling trail. The reception is fully self-service. After completing a reservation, guests receive a unique access code that allows them to open both the entrance gate and their room. This enables a convenient check-in at any time, including late arrivals. Payment can be made online, and invoices are available upon request. Guests can also take advantage of a private parking area reserved exclusively for accommodated guests.
On the ground floor, you'll find a traditional Czech restaurant serving excellent cuisine and perfectly fresh tank beer, along with a pleasant summer terrace shaded by mature trees. Breakfast is not served at the guesthouse; however, there are plenty of cafés and breakfast spots within walking distance. Each room is equipped with a minibar and an electric kettle..
All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower. The most recent renovation of the guest rooms was completed in April 2026.
The tradition of hospitality and accommodation at this historic building dates back to 1821. Today, the building is protected as a cultural heritage monument.
Right next to the pension is attractive bike path which leads to Hluboká nad Vltavou and further. The bike path is located along the river Vltava and it is suitable for children. It is possible to borrow a bike or prepare a depositor in case you come with your own bicycle.
If you are not traveling by car you can use bus connection - numbers 1, 3, 14, 21 or 53. The bus station has the same name as our Pension: U Zelené Ratolesti. It is from 10 to 15 minute ride with bus from the train station and the main bus station.
